Lab Work

During my school year in Iowa State University, I have a lot of lab works that have fully prepared me in VLSI design area. Below are some of the lab that I did in VLSI courses.

1) From Boolean equation to Silicon:
In this lab, we were asked to implement a Boolean Function equation to silicon with given area and pins constraints. We work on the schematic and the layout view and run the LVS function to have both of the view matched. We were asked to design the layout by using NAND or NOR gates and inverters.

2) Creating Bonding Pads and Resistor:
The objective of this lab work is to investigate the design of a basic bonding pad and simple ESD protection circuitry. Besides, we create a resistor layout using high-res layer to obtain the resistor values that is given in the lab.
